Board Vice-Chairman Appointed

The Flexible Space Association’s Board has appointed IWG’s Richard McVay as its Vice-Chairman.

Richard (pictured) has been a member of the Board for the last year, and is Facilities Director at IWG, which operates a portfolio of flexible workspace brands, including Regus, Spaces and Basepoint.

Richard will support FlexSA’s Chairman, Freya Cross, of The Deep Business Centre in Hull, in leading the Board.  His appointment reflects the diversity of the Association’s member companies, which range from single-location business centres such as The Deep,  to IWG as its largest member company.  In between those are companies of all sizes, running a wide variety of flexible workspaces.

Commenting on his appointment, Richard McVay said:

“I am delighted to have taken on the role of Vice-Chairman of the Flexible Space Association’s Board.  As with every industry the flexible workspace sector is facing challenging times, but there is a great deal of optimism for the future, and the part we can play in the economic recovery post-Covid.  I am looking forward to contributing to this more widely through the Flexible Space Association, as well as encouraging operators which are not currently Association members to join and play their part in our industry body.”
