Bristol Roundtable Meeting and Workspace Visit

Flexible Space Association members came together yesterday for a Roundtable Meeting in the city of Bristol.

Hosted at Desklodge’s newest addition to their Bristol presence Beacon Tower,  guests were wowed by the very unique Medieval-themed Banquet Hall Meeting Room –  typical of the building’s quirky themed rooms and spaces.

Members heard the latest updates on the Flexible Space Association’s activities, before a roundtable discussion covering issues, advice and experience in running flexible workspace. The conversation ranged from local market conditions to the use of in-house members events, even down to directly operational topics such as cleaning and best practice in maintaining tidy communal areas.

Following the meeting was a tour of Desklodge Beacon Tower led by Founder Tom Ball, before the group took a short walk to Fora St Nicholas House. As one of a handful of Fora spaces outside of London, the building just on the corner of Bristol Bridge holds the distinct simplistic and modern style touches that come with the brand.

The group enjoyed the views from their rooftop terrace, offering impressive views of the city and explored the basement co-working and meetings rooms as a great utilisation of space in a smaller building.

We have recently published our schedule of dates and locations for in-person Roundtable meetings for the remainder of the year, with new locations of Cardiff, Southampton and Liverpool featured as well as our more established cities such as Birmingham and Manchester.

You can find further details for these on our Events Page.
