Introducing Our Conference Speakers: ESG in Flexible Workspaces

Ahead of the Flexible Space Association’s Annual Conference and Exhibition on Tuesday 14th May, we’re taking a look at some of the sessions which will make up the day.

Last year we introduced an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) category to our Annual Awards for the first time.  It was hotly contested, but it was DeskLodge which took home the 2023 award.  The judging panel were impressed with their comprehensive approach and commitment to ESG activities.

Tom Ball, Founder of DeskLodge, will be hosting a conference panel discussion looking at the practical implementation of ESG initiatives in flexible workspaces of all sizes.

He will be joined by Sonal Jain, Head of Sustainability at Workspace Group, which were finalists in the awards.  Their Inspires Me initiative supports disadvantaged young people in the communities their workspaces are based in, including through CV and career workshops, and interview practice.

Alexandra Livesey is Chief Operating Officer at Clockwise.  The Clockwise Positive Impact Strategy seeks to deliver their vision for a future in which every work environment and experience has a positive impact for people, places and the planet.

The final member of the panel is Michelle Johnson, Managing Director at Hope Park Workspaces.  Running three workspaces in Salford and Bradford, Hope Park reinvests its profits into national charity Transforming Lives for Good, which supports children and families who are struggling.

With customers and staff increasingly interested in the environmental and social impact their workspace provider is taking, this session will offer a wealth of useful information for everyone running flexible workspaces.
