Directors elected to FlexSA Board

Elections took place to the Board of the Flexible Space Association last month, with two positions open for election, and a number of people putting themselves forward from FlexSA member companies.

Mark Kass of The Hive Enterprise Centre in Southend-on-Sea was re-elected to the Board for a second term of office.

The Flexible Space Association also welcomed Jeff Morton as a new member of its Board.

The trade association for the UK flexible workspace industry has a Board of nine Directors, drawn from the operators of flexible workspace.  They oversee the running of the Association, and its strategic direction.

Jeff Morton is a Chartered Surveyor by profession, and established the Biz Hub serviced office brand in 2012, with his business partner Chris Bullough.  Biz Hub now owns and operates 12 centres across the north of England, providing a home to some 400 SME businesses.

Commenting on his election, Jeff Morton said: “I was delighted to be successful in the elections to join the Flexible Space Association’s Board, and am grateful to my peers for the confidence they have placed in me to represent them.  Whilst these are challenging times for businesses, the flexible workspace industry is showing itself to be resilient, and I know that throughout the sector operators have worked hard to ensure their customers continue to have access to the workspace they need to run their businesses.”

Chairman of the Flexible Space Association, Freya Cross, said: “We were very fortunate to have a number of strong candidates put forward for the elections to our Board, and I am looking forward to continuing to work with Mark Kass.  I am also delighted to welcome Jeff Morton as a Director of the Flexible Space Association, and he will contribute considerable experience to guiding the future direction of the trade association.”
