Basepoint Crawley is delighted to announce that three of its customers were winners at the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, presented at the Hilton London Gatwick on 4th March.
Winner of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award was Matt Turner of Creative Pod, who has been located at Basepoint since December 2006. He commented: “Winning this award is a real honour, it’s made the long days and nights and sacrifices all worthwhile. I’m very grateful to Basepoint for their support - having professional, affordable and well managed workspace has been intrinsic to the success of my business.”
Other winners were Waviatech, who joined Basepoint in October 2005 as a virtual client and over the years, have expanded within the centre - they won the award for Export 2010, and finally, Go Green Travel UK Limited who won The Green Award for Sustainable Travel and Transport.
The Gatwick Diamond is home to a vast range of businesses which span all sectors of the economy, from household names to niche companies, and from multinationals to sole traders. The Gatwick Diamond Business Award winners are those businesses or people who have shown innovation and inspiration in their work, and have demonstrated a real commitment to the sub-region.
Rebecca Gattinesi, Basepoint Crawley’s Centre Manager, said: “We are delighted for our clients who thoroughly deserve their awards, and would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate International Logistics Group Limited, the winners of the Customer Delight Award which we sponsored. We will continue to support local businesses in every way we can to enable our region to flourish.”
