The Enterprise Zones to be created in England will be in:
• Birmingham and Solihull
• Leeds City Region
• Sheffield City Region
• Liverpool City Region
• Greater Manchester
• West of England
• Tees Valley
• North Eastern
• The Black Country
• Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
• London
The government has also launched a competition for local enterprise partnerships to pitch to set up ten more enterprise zones, which will be announced this summer.
Enterprise zones include incentives for growth including a 100% business rate discount worth up to £275,000 over a five year period; all business rates growth in the zone for 25 years to go to the local authority; simplified planning rules; and support to ensure superfast broadband is rolled out in the area.

•Fuel duty cut by 1p a litre from 6pm and a Fair Fuel Stabiliser to be introduced
• Business rate relief extended for a year until October 2012
• Personal Tax allowance to rise to £8105 in April 2012
• Corporation Tax to be reduced by 2% rather than the planned 1% from April 2011
• 2011 Growth forecast revised down from 2.1% to 1.7%
• New automatic mechanism for future increases in state pension age
• 21 new Enterprise Zones to be created in England
• Additional £100m invested in new science facilities this year
• Extra £100m to help council’s repair potholes
• £50,000 charge for non-doms who have lived in the UK for 12 years
• £250m to help first time buyers purchase newly built homes
