Rubberdesk Releases Latest London Market Report

Flexible Space Association member Rubberdesk has today released its latest report on the flexible workspace market in London.  It shows the largest increase in supply since 2020, which is attributed to 10 new flexible workspaces and the expansion of existing operators in the city.

Rubberdesk report that in Q2 there was an increase in available space of 26%, and a 17% increase in the number of offices.

Jim Groves, CEO of Rubberdesk, commented: We have seen a significant shift in the London Flex office market this year. There are more locations available, greater variety and in some cases, very favourable rates.  Location and desirability are top of tenants’ wish lists as they move to smaller but more engaging workspaces for teams.”

The monthly average desk rate for London from December 2022 onwards was found by Rubberdesk to have reduced by 2% to £622.  Central London remains the leader for premium office space, with median monthly prices at £695 per desk and strong demand in areas including Mayfair, Marylebone, King’s Cross and Holborn.
