Reading Roundtable and Workspace Tours

The Flexible Space Association held a Roundtable Meeting in Reading yesterday, bringing together people working in the flexible workspace sector in Berkshire.

The meeting was hosted by Flexible Space Association member Impact Working, at their location opened just a few months ago.

A wealth of topics were discussed, from the different channels to communicate with customers and the range of events organised for them, to the challenge of getting good arrangements in place for cleaning and maintenance work.

Everyone reported on an increase to footfall in their buildings in recent months, including a rise of those using workspace on Mondays.

Following a tour of Impact Working, the group visited nearby DeskLodge, which is also new to Reading in Sovereign House.  The contrast in the two workspaces highlighted the diversity of flexible workspaces available to suit every need.  Impact Working’s more minimal decor was set against crocodiles, wall murals and themed rooms at DeskLodge!

Earlier in the day, FlexSA’s Executive Director Jane Sartin had visited Co-Space in Reading town centre, which sees flexible workspace sit alongside retail and leisure businesses.
