New Board Members Elected

Two new members of the Flexible Space Association’s Board have been elected, and will take up their posts at the AGM on 21st September.  Seven people had stood for the vacant positions.

Elections were held for two places on the Board, the first ringfenced for people working for companies which are members of the Flexible Space Association running between 1 and 5 locations, and the second for those with 6 to 24 locations.  This is to keep a balanced Board representing the range of member companies; two current Board members work for companies with 25 or more locations.

The successful candidates were:

  • Denise McGeachy, Chief Operating Officer at Bracken Workplace Plus in Leeds, with 2 locations.
  • Myf Plunkett, Head of Sales and Marketing at LentaSpace, which runs 14 locations, mainly in London.

Denise and Myf will be Non-Executive Directors of the Flexible Space Association, and represent all members in helping to steer its direction and support its work.

Denise McGeachy commented: “I am thrilled to be joining the Flexible Space Association’s Board of Directors and very grateful for the support in achieving this.   Bracken have been members of the Association for 12 years, and to now join the Board as a representative of smaller, niche operators is really exciting.   I hope to bring a fresh voice to the Board (being from the North) and my years of experience in the smaller flexible workspace sector.”

Myf Plunkett said: “I am delighted and honoured to join the Flexible Space Association’s Board of Directors. I started my journey in the flex industry in Australia before moving to the UK in 2017. I’ve worked across all areas of flex including serviced and managed offices, industrial, storage and studio space, coworking and innovation centres. I currently work at LentaSpace as the Head of Sales & Marketing. I look forward to contributing to the board and community of FlexSA.”
