Manchester Workspace Tour

The latest Flexible Space Association Workspace Tour took place yesterday, with a group of FlexSA members visiting 6 flexible workspaces in Manchester.

The tour began with Bruntwood Works’ 111 Piccadilly, which is so close to Manchester Piccadilly train station they have a live train departures board by the door.  We then made a short walk to a second Bruntwood Works building, Bloc, which has a staggering 18,000 plants on the inside and outside of the building!

Then onto Landmark’s Chancery Place, and the first visit of the day to a large roof terrace with fantastic city views.  Our fourth stop was at Bold Bauhaus, and another roof terrace.

Orega have very recently opened at The Tootal Buildings, after a major refurbishment of these historic premises, and their space looked stunning. Finally we saw Clockwise Offices in Linley House, with innovative design features throughout, include space on the ground floor that can be adapted as coworking or event space.

There is a strong market for flexible workspace in Manchester, with many established workspace operators planning new openings in the months and years ahead to meet demand.

We saw a range of approaches to services and facilties offered, including bespoke space for wellbeing activities, onsite coffee shops and a variety of meeting room facilities.

Keep an eye on our events pages for more to come throughout the rest of the year.
