International Men’s Day Webinar on Suicide Prevention & Male Mental Health

At 11am on Wednesday 15th November, the Flexible Space Association is hosting a webinar with a slightly different focus, ahead of this month’s International Men’s Day.

The theme of International Men’s Day is ‘Zero Male Suicide’, so we will be tackling that topic and the wider issue of male mental health, looking at how everyone can create change in the spaces where we live, work and play.

We’ll be joined by Leon McQuade, a dedicated director and Trustee for the UK’s fastest growing suicide prevention charity Andy’s Man Club, who will share his first-hand experience to help tackle this huge challenge.

The webinar will be hosted by Michael Millard, a member of the Flexible Space Association’s Board, and Performance Director for London at IWG.

In Leon’s day job as co-founder and Chief-AI-Officer of cybersecurity firm Think Cloud, based at Flexible Space Association Member The Deep Business Centre in Hull, he is familiar with high-pressure environments. He chaired the Public Health England Suicide Prevention Men’s Task and Finish Group for two years through the pandemic and beyond, leading critical efforts in the Humber and North Yorkshire regions.
