FlexSA in Scotland
The Flexible Space Association’s Executive Director, Jane Sartin, has been in Glasgow and Edinburgh this week to meet with FlexSA members and others working in the flexible workspace sector.
FlexSA hosted the first in-person roundtable meeting for nearly 2 years at Wizu Workspace’s brand new Glasgow location on Wednesday. There was a wide-ranging discussion covering everything from how the market is performing locally, to the increase in people looking to bring their dogs to work with them.
In Edinburgh, Jane was able to fit in a visit to Clockwise’s beautiful building in Leith. General Manager, Steven Carr, gave her a tour of the building, which includes a range of private offices, coworking space and meeting rooms.
The Edinburgh roundtable meeting was hosted by Spaces in the city centre. It had a very lively coworking area, and it was good to see so much activity. After meeting at Spaces, the group made a short walk to Landmark in nearby Exchange Place, a popular location for a range of businesses.
In both Glasgow and Edinburgh it was good to see so many people are back in offices again, and increasingly seeing the benefits of making flexible workspace the home for their business, or as a place to work from for part of the working week.
