FlexSA in Bristol & Cardiff

The Flexible Space Association has held Roundtable Meetings in Bristol and Cardiff this week, bringing together people working at our member companies in each city.

In Bristol, the group met at Landmark’s workspace (pictured below), close to Bristol Temple Meads station.  It’s an area seeing a lot of investment, with the historic station undergoing major refurbishment, and commercial and residential development nearby.

The group had a wide-ranging discussion on flexible workspace issues, including the popularity of 4 to 6 person offices, how part-time offices can work for operators and clients, and how the year has generally got off to a good start in our sector.

The group enjoyed a tour of Landmark, before heading a short walk to Desklodge House.  The workspaces could not have been more contrasting, demonstrating yet again how there is flexible workspace to suit every business.  At Desklodge we saw submarine and caravan meeting rooms, woodland, space and festival themed areas, and much more besides!  At both workspaces, workplace technology and services tailored to ensure a productive working environment underpin everything.

In Cardiff we met at Clockwise in Brunel House, and topics discussed included business rates, marketing channels and parking for workspaces.  On a tour of the workspace, there was interest in the use of phone booths, and the kitchens were particularly admired!

The next FlexSA Roundtable and Workspace Visit takes place in Birmingham on 27th February.
