FlexSA Brings Members Together in Birmingham
The Flexible Space Association was in Birmingham yesterday, bringing together some of the people working at our member companies in and around the city.
We met at WeWork 55 Colmore Row, an impressive historic building. Ahead of a tour of WeWork’s space, we had a roundtable disucssion, with topics including the differentiators between the workspaces represented at the meeting. This included smaller or larger offices being more prevalent, close to the station or having plentiful parking and a focus on lots of community events versus occasional get-togethers. As ever, it demonstrated that there’s flexible workspace to suit every need.
We then took a walk to Orega in The Colmore Building, a landmark building in the city. The group had a tour of Orega’s workspace and meeting rooms, before going down into the multiple basement levels which house everything from a GP surgery and laundry service, to fitness studio and large gym.
Everyone appreciated the opportunity to learn from others, and share news of a generally positive start to the year.
