Excellence in Customer Service Award: Inigo Cheltenham
For the recent Flexible Space Association awards, we made five awards in the category of Excellence in Customer Service, splitting the UK into areas, with the judging panel considering the entries for each.
There were a high number of entries across the UK, telling a collective story of the focus the flexible workspace sector places on delivering the highest standards of customer service.
The winner of the 2023 Excellence in Customer Service Award for South West England was Inigo Cheltenham, pictured above.
Their entry focused on the work of the Centre Manager, Stephanie Velez, who joined Inigo in March 2022. She runs the Cheltenham centre largely on her own, but with support from colleagues, including Lyn from nearby UBC Cirencester who covers in Stephanie’s absence.
Stephanie works hard to accommodate her clients’ requirements. She organises events for fundraising and celebrations, creating a family feeling in the centre. This has also helped clients to build connections between their companies, and even created business opportunities.
Inigo Cheltenham’s entry set out specific examples of how Stephanie has supported clients, including moving two people who had been working in coworking space to a private office together, and moving a business from being a virtual client to a 2-person and then a larger office, which required adapting space to meet their needs. She supported the latter business in a variety of ways, contributing towards their success and subsequent growth.
The Excellence in Customer Service Award for Inigo Cheltenham was presented at our Gala Dinner last month. It was accepted by UBC Managing Director Richard Johnson (Inigo now forms part of the UBC group) and the Centre Manager from Inigo Windsor, Grace Pierce. Also pictured are Danny Wyrwoll of award sponsor Glide, and the Chairman of the Flexible Space Association’s Board, Freya Cross.
