Braving the Downpours in London!
A large group of people from FlexSA member companies braved the heavy downpours in the City of London yesterday to visit 5 flexible workspaces. The concensus seemed to be that it was worth getting wet for!
We began at Office Space in Town St Paul’s, where everyone gathered in a large meeting room to introduce themselves before heading off on a tour of the building.
It was a short walk to Argyll Octagon Point, which offers modern workspace right next to St Paul’s Cathedral. It has fantastic views to the centre of the City, as well as over the Cathedral, and floor to ceiling windows to make the most of this.
Myo St Paul’s is a relatively new flexible workspace, and the group were struck by how spacious it is, as well as very impressed with the kitchens!
Our penultimate stop was to UBC’s Blackwell House, a real contrast to the previous workspaces in being an historic building next to Guildhall. It includes the oldest working lift in the City of London, which a couple of the group were keen to try!
Finally, we went to Halkin King William Street, which opened last year in what was once a department store. The transformation of the space is stunning.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed us to their buildings, and to everyone who participated in the tour.
Keep an eye on our events pages for more to come.
