On Thursday 6th October, the BCA attended the essensys conference 2011 celebrating five years in business with an event lined up for its suppliers and customers that really delivered.
essensys are technology providers for managed workspace environments, and the passion this team have for simplicity, innovation and quality really shone through throughout the day. They are also a key sponsor for the BCA.
Mark Furness CEO of Essensys who founded the company in 2006, provided great insight in to how they had achieved so much in a short space of time, exhibiting an impressive portfolio including Avanta and Targetspace.

The companies’ service Network and Management service JEFF™ was presented to the delegates by Bryn Sadler CTO who has a wealth of experience in engineering, solution design and product management.
JEFF™ is the fully automated provisioning and management tool from essensys which is proven to save operators time and money. “Plug and play has finally been mastered for business centres” Avanta describe on the Essensys website. And you could understand why.
Developed as a response to the needs and challenges in the sector, JEFF™ can provision tenants immediately and enable operators to remotely manage individual requirements. The system also offers access to billing, reporting and additional ICT services which, when integrated with the client’s license agreement and billing system, makes life much easier for operators than ever before.
Two awards were handed to the delegates. The first went to Philip Grace receiving the award for ‘Fastest Growing Serviced Operator’ for i2 Office.
The ‘Special Award’ went to Tony Holdich of Inspire Bradford Business Park for their work with young businesses.
The last word went to chairman of essensys John Pluthero CEO and Executive Director of Cable&Wireless Worldwide giving a great account of the fast growing company, his pride of the team and the ambition essensys have for success in the sector.
